Can I order cabinetry and
furniture online?
At this time, online ordering is not
available. However, if you see a piece of furniture that you
would like to purchase we are able to take the order through
email or over the phone. Please send us an e-mail at info@riversedgewoodproducts.com
or phone us at 877-205-2729 to purchase the item, and to get
estimated shipping costs. We are open Monday - Friday 8:00am -
4:30pm EST, and by appointment. If we have the item
in-stock we can usually ship within a few days, however if the
item needs to be built shipping times will vary based on the
manufacturing schedule. If you are looking to have a custom piece
made we'll gladly discuss your ideas and quote your project.

Am I required to pay sales
tax if I call you with an order?
If we are shipping our products within
Maine you will need to pay the 5% Maine sales tax. If we are
shipping the products outside of Maine you are exempt from the
sales tax.

Do I need to put any money
down to order a piece of furniture or
cabinetry?
If you are looking to place a custom order
we require a 50% deposit to start building the item; we then
collect the balance upon delivery or pick up of your item. If you
are looking to purchase an in-stock item we take payment in full
before we ship the item.

One of the furniture pieces
is just what I have been looking for, but I am not sure it is the
right size?
If the piece that we have listed online is
not the size that you need we are able to custom build any table,
hutch or bureau to your height, length and depth requirements. We
want our products to compliment your home and be as functional as
possible.

Does the color of the
actual furniture differ from what is on the
site?
Because settings on individual monitors
vary, it is often hard for us to show the exact color of each
item. If you have questions about a particular color of an item,

Are there different
finishes available for products that are pictured on your
website?
We can usually match any existing stain
very well; we also have a variety of stains available for you to
choose from. At this time they are not available online, please
visit our showroom to view our different stains.

Will my Rivers Edge
Furniture change color or fade over time?
Our Cherry products will naturally darken
over time. How fast this happens depends on the amount of
sunlight in the room, the more light the faster it will darken.
Please stop by our showroom in Biddeford, ME to see a selection
of Cherry furniture that has a variety of colors. Other woods to
change over time, however, Cherry is the most
noticeable

What is your warranty
policy?
All of Rivers Edge furniture and cabinetry
is fully warranted against any material and workmanship defects.
If you have any problems or concerns with our products we will
gladly work with you to develop a solution.
All of the Quality and Woodstar brand products are backed by a
no-nonsense, no-fine-print, two year warranty on workmanship and

How much does your
cabinetry cost?
Online cabinet pricing is not currently
available as it varies with each project based on customer wants
and needs. Please contact us to schedule a time to review the
details of your project and provide you with a quote. You may
also fax or bring in your kitchen dimensions and we would be
happy to put a quote together for you. If you are looking at
Quality or Woodstar brand Cabinets please visit their website at

determine what wood type and finish that you would like. If you
are looking at a custom kitchen please specify what type of wood
you are looking to get a price for, ie: Cherry, Maple,
Oak.

How long will it take to
get my cabinets after I place an order?
If you are placing a Quality or Woodstar
brand cabinet order, the cabinetry will be delivered to our shop
in approx. 4 weeks. Delivery on Rivers Edge custom cabinetry will vary
due to the size of your project, extent of the customizations and
our current manufacturing schedule.

How do I clean and care
for my Rivers Edge furniture and cabinetry?
Dust your pieces frequently using a soft
lint-free cloth. You may slightly dampen the cloth with water (do
not use a wet or soaked cloth), use a mild soap or choose from a
variety of dust removers created for cleaning fine wood products.
Never use harsh detergents or abrasives. To keep your products
looking as good as the day they came into your home we suggest
using Old English Oil to condition and protect the
wood.

The moulding in my home is
very unique. I have only been able to find similar profiles, can
you create an exact match?
If we do not have the profile in stock we
can usually order a knife that will match the existing trim work
in your home. Please contact us for more information as pricing
varies depending on the size and detail of each
moulding.

My dinning room table has
a scratch, is there a way to repair it?
If it is a shallow scratch, it can be
touched up with a matching stain or in some cases furniture
polish may diminish the scratch. If the scratch is deep it will
require professional care.
